10th class exams: 8 Govt schools records zero pass percentage

 

 

 

Srinagar, Feb 17: At least eight government high schools of Kashmir division have recorded zero pass percentage in the annual regular 10th class examination.

 

 

 

 

Besides, 41 government schools have also registered pass percentage of less than 30 percent and 26 other government schools have failed to register pass percentage of above 20 and 10 percent respectively.

 

 

 

 

 

 

According to the figures compiled by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), among the schools that recorded the zero pass percentage Government High School, Wantrag Mattan, Boys High School Lasjan, GHS Hangnikot, Boys High School Kachpathri Hariganwan, Girls High School Badipora Chadoora, Secondary School Sitharan Khag Budgam , High School Sangri Top Baramulla And  High School Kandiwara (Breng).

 

 

 

Earlier, last week, at least 26 Government Higher Secondary Schools of Kashmir division had recorded pass percentage of less than 48 percent in the annual regular results of 12th standard.

 

 

 

 

According to JKBOSE, three government schools in the exams had recorded a pass percentage of less than twenty percent that includes Government Higher Secondary School Kilshay with zero pass percentage.

 

 

 

Pertinently, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) on Wednesday announced the annual regular results of 10th standard examination 2021 for Kashmir division with a total pass percentage of 78.14 percent.
