Gold Price: Gold became cheaper by Rs 8,500 – Check Fresh Rates Here


New Delhi: There was a sharp fall in the price of gold across the country on Wednesday. In the bullion market, gold fell by Rs 302 per ten grams.

In line with the fall in the international price of precious metals, gold on Wednesday declined by Rs 302 to Rs 46,814 per 10 grams in the national capital’s bullion market. HDFC Securities gave this information.


In the last trading session, gold had closed at Rs 47,116 per 10 grams. Silver also declined by Rs 597 to close at Rs 60,625 per kg. It had closed at Rs 61,222 per kg in the last trading session.


HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Spot gold of 24 carat in Delhi declined by Rs 302 in line with the fall on Monday at New York-based commodity exchange Comex.”


In the international market, gold was trading at USD 1,804 an ounce, while silver remained almost unchanged at USD 23.83 an ounce.


Gold breaks record Rs 8,500

A record fall was recorded in the price of gold on Wednesday. In August, 2020, gold had reached its all-time high rate. In August, 2020, the price of gold had reached Rs 55,400 per ten grams in the bullion market.


If we compare the today’s price of gold with its all-time high rate, then a fall of Rs 8,500 per ten grams has been seen in the price of gold.
