SBI Debit Card Holders Get Insurance Up To Rs. 20 Lakh:

State Bank of India (SBI) is the largest bank in the country. SBI is at the forefront of customers. Explain that SBI offers its customers a variety of debit cards. The maximum insurance cover available on SBI cards is Rs 20 lakh. The important thing is that the insurance cover is free. This means that you will not have to pay premium.


Get 20 Lakh Rupees on This SBI Debit Card:

On SBI Pride (Business Debit) (MasterCard / Visa), you will get Rs 2 lakh in Accident (Non-Air) and Rs 4 lakh in Air Accident free death insurance. On SBI Premium (Business Debit) (Master Card / Visa), these amounts are Rs 5 lakh and Rs 10 lakh respectively. After all, insurance on SBI Visa Signature Debit Card is Rs 10 lakh in non-air accident and Rs 20 lakh on air accident.


What are the Conditions:

For example, the card must be used at least once on any channel- ATM or POS or e-commerce in the 90 days preceding the date of accident. At the same time, the maximum amount of personal air accident insurance cover (in case of death only) is Rs 20 lakh. This means that if the card user dies during air travel, then the nominee can claim up to Rs 20 lakh. Users also get a purchase protection cover on the card. It covers losses including theft/burglary within 90 days of purchase. However, it is necessary that the goods are purchased from the Point of Sale / Merchant Establishment through an eligible SBI Debit Card.


When do You Get This Free Insurance:

SBI provides Accidental Insurance to over 40 crore customers for free. Keep in mind that the card must be used at least once by any method (ATM / POS / e-commerce) within 90 days before the day of the accident. This will be considered to be active.

State Bank of India (SBI) is offering free insurance benefits up to ₹2 lakh to customers who have a Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana account with the lender or have opened their accounts earlier. To avail the insurance benefits, customers will have to open a Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) account with SBI. How To Get SBI Accidental Insurance Benefits:

To get the accidental insurance benefits, nominees will have to fill a claim form and attach the death certificate of the person for whom the insurance is to be claimed. They will also have to submit a copy of the FIR regarding the accident, mortem report, FSL report, and copy of the deceased person’s Aadhar card. These documents have to be submitted within 90 days of the accident to claim the insurance.
