The government revises the prices of LPG cylinders on the 1st of every month. This time there has been a big increase of Rs 105 in the prices of commercial LPG cylinder cylinders. Its price has now reached Rs 2,012 in Delhi.

new Delhi. The government has made a big increase in the prices of LPG cylinders from Tuesday (March 1, 2022). The rate of commercial LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 105 to Rs 2,012 from today in Delhi.

Government oil marketing companies said that the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been increased by Rs 105. The new prices have come into effect from Tuesday itself. After this increase, there will be a load on the hotel-restaurant and it may also hit the customers. On 1 February, companies reduced the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 91.50.

Big increase in the prices of small cylinders

Government oil companies have also increased the rate of 5 kg small LPG cylinder. Now a 5 kg LPG cylinder has become costlier by Rs 27 in Delhi. Customers will now get it at the rate of Rs 569. However, the companies have not made any change in the prices of LPG cylinders.

The amount of subsidy also increased

The government has paid a large amount in the form of subsidy so far in the first half of the current financial year (2021-22). Till the first half, the government has given subsidy of about Rs 7,500 crore. In the financial year 20216-17, the government had given a subsidy of Rs 12,133 crore in the whole year. This figure is visible when more than one crore people have given up subsidy so far.
