MET Predicts Heavy Rain/Snow From Tomorrow

Jammu and Kashmir is expected to be affected by two Western Disturbances.

The first disturbance is expected on 26th February, bringing a light to moderate spell of rain in some areas of Jammu and Kashmir, with the possibility of light snowfall in higher regions. However, nothing significant is expected on this day.

The second disturbance is forecasted to occur from 27th February evening until 03rd March early morning. It is expected to bring moderate rainfall to most places in the plains, along with lightning, thunder, and gusty winds in some areas. However, no continuous rainfall is expected anywhere. In the higher regions, moderate to heavy snowfall is possible.
